History

RayJ began talking about the Chupacabra in late August 2023, although it is unclear why this began.

He has stated his plans to attempt to capture the Chupacabra himself and gave his reasoning:

any time spent discussing politics is time we could be discussing chupacabra sightings

2024 plan:

1) we find the chupacabra
2) we present it at a major cryptozoology conference
3) samantha sees me on TV

Confusion with Capybara

Some members of the community were confused by RayJ's claims and assumed he might be talking about a Capybara. Capybaras are the largest of the rodent kingdom and would make more sense.

Capybara Song

At some point while experimenting with early AI technology RayJ created a song entitled "Oh Capybara!".

This was mentioned once more in relation to how one can attend "Merry Monad" celebrations:

Merry Monad is happening on the remote location of Easter Island. Participants should have already obtained the necessary visas and booked flights to the nearest country.
From there they will need to journey by boat until they reach the shores and see the Giant Benads Head the community have erected in his honour. On the beach participants will be required to recite the "oh capybara!" initiation chant twice (no more, no less). Then they can attend
