Gmonad

"gmonad" is the traditional greeting in the monad community, being a play on "gm" but with "monad" added. "gnad" is the version for "Good Night".

Origins[edit]

RayJ has offered the following as to the origins of 'gmonad', although the accuracy is questionable:

gmonad as a greeting was first created by the CIA in 1950 as a way of greeting each other without being detected by foreign governments. though we now say "gmonad", it was originally "good man, my friend" but was eventually shortened to just "gmonad" over time. few people remember these origins
