It started with a typo
David's foray into Monad's general chat on Februray 1st of 2024 to promote Monad's inclusion in a recent Bankless article was mired in ridicule. Despite his clear love of the project and respect for the founders, his unfamiliarity with the intimate details of the culture was exposed by the community. One community member was able to capitalize on same, however, that is not where this story begins... much to David's dismay.
